Intertainment AG und Paramount Pictures to start film project
Rights for action thriller signed and sealed

Ismaning near Munich, 3 May 2001 - Intertainment AG of Ismaning near Munich and Paramount Pictures, one of Hollywood's leading studios, which entered into a 2-year first look co-financing agreement at the beginning of this year, are to start their first joint film project with the American producer, Arnold Kopelson. The working title of the action thriller is "A Window To Atlantis".

Paramount Pictures shares the development and production costs of those film projects that are produced jointly with Intertainment and Kopelson. In return the Studio will distribute and market those films in all media markets in North America.

In May 2000 Intertainment AG signed a five-year agreement with Kopelson Entertainment to finance their films, thus securing the exclusive, world-wide distribution rights to at least ten future productions. Kopelson is currently in post-production on the Michael Douglas picture "Don't Say a Word" and in production on "Joe Somebody" which stars Tim Allen. Both pictures are being produced for Twentieth Century Fox.
Kopelson, who is one of Hollywood's most successful producers, earned an Academy Award for his production of Platoon. His films, which have garnered a total of 17 Oscar nominations and generated USD 2 billion box office sales for his last ten productions, include "The Fugitive", "Outbreak", "Seven", and "Devil's Advocate".

Rudiger Baeres, CEO of Intertainment AG stated, "Arnold Kopelson is one of the world's top producers. We look forward to working with him and are certain that this co-production will be a success. "A Window to Atlantis" is a very interesting project to start with", says Ruediger Baeres, CEO of Intertainment AG.
