Intertainment to publish annual financial statements by 29 April 2002
Deutsche Börse approves application for extension of time limit
Ismaning near Munich, 26 March 2002 - Intertainment AG, located in Ismaning near Munich, will publish its consolidated
financial statements and management report and its individual financial statements for 2001 by no later than 29 April
2002. On Tuesday evening Deutsche Börse AG approved the company's application to extend the time limit by four weeks.
Intertainment filed the application for an extension of the time limit because legal documents concerning the litigation
between Intertainment Licensing GmbH and Franchise Pictures in the USA are subject to a protective order and could not
be submitted to the auditors so that proper reporting was not possible. Intertainment has already filed a motion to
unseal the confidential documents.
Since December 2000 Intertainment Licensing GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Intertainment AG, has been in a legal dispute
with Franchise Pictures, LLC on grounds of a fraudulently excessive film budget to the tune of 75 million USD. The
judgment is expected at the end of November 2002.
