Trial relating to lawsuit involving compensation for damages brought by Intertainment against Franchise Pictures will continue this Thursday 

Ismaning near Munich, May 19, 2004 - This follows a break in the hearing lasting over a week. The trial relating to lawsuit involving compensation for damages brought by Intertainment AG, Ismaning near Munich, against American film producer Franchise Pictures and others in Santa Ana near Los Angeles will continue this Thursday. Rüdiger Baeres, Chairman of the Board of Management of Intertainment, will be giving testimony. He also took to the witness stand on the last trial day so far, on Tuesday last week.

Another trial day has also been scheduled for this Friday, while next week three days have been timetabled before another break in the trial lasting around one week.

Intertainment has filed a lawsuit against its former partner Franchise Pictures on account of fraudulently inflated film budgets for numerous films and is claiming damages amounting to at least 100 million dollars. The judgment is scheduled to be handed down at the latest on June 11.
